I have a long history as an in-office legal assistant/paralegal. Soon after I received my honors diploma in paralegal studies in 1993, I began my career working as legal secretary for a sole practitioner, then worked as a legal assistant in a large lawfirm and finally as both a legal assistant and then paralegal for a governmental legal department. While on maternity leave after the birth of my third child, I began the process of opening my virtual paralegal / virtual assistance practice up for business and Halo Secretarial Services has been going strong ever since early fall in 2008. In 2016 I did a little re-branding and now run Halo Paralegal as a division of Halo Secretarial Services.
On a personal note, I’m a mama to 3 wonderful boys, and I share my life with an amazing and and supportive husband. We also share our home with our rescue dog, Poco!
My clients’ privacy is of utmost importance to me. I will maintain client confidentiality and will perform any necessary conflict checks prior to taking on assignments or clients. I will happily sign confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements for all of my clients.
